THE SLASH SERIES: HUMAN/MACHINE
Insides
“This motor that you call my heart
is another machine that will stop.”
– I Blame Coco
Veins in our bodies
connect the mechanical parts
from the touch of a skin
the signals from your hands
become pictures of senses
from head to toe
your naked person
reflects my blurry eyes
Cables in my mainframe
frames your face and heart apart
from a view of your world
the waves from your hands
connect my mind
to my world waving in the wind
in which our naked bodies
refresh my dirty windows
BODY LANGUAGE
Between your outlines
I'm out of context
out of line, out of mind and out of words
Between your ears
I'm on the next
train to a plane
in between us
setting sails crossing the line
The ground clears
We're careful and fragile
textures of the landscape
He starts his engine
enter her codename
to visit her IP address
He asks himself permission
to pull the plug
and ask her out of proportion
He saves the words
realize that it hurts
to be a random mattress
He sees her turn the ignition
on the other hand
she’s stuck in abortion of mission, absorbing a vision
She starts his engine
enter his nickname
and touch his screen
CROSSWORDS
We're components
of organs and chips
I'm only a nanometre
and a composition
of words form coming
under your skin
We're clicking and ticking
like bombshells
on the fields of time
you explode in sentences like bookshelves
in supernova passwords
we're energy of the universe
DUO
Two Noses Mouths Bodies Worlds Minds One Thought Twenty Fingers
Billions Bodies Worlds Minds Thoughts Bending Like Bamboo & You
BORDER ONLINE
Our boundaries are falling out
Our humanities are stalling about
now we disconnect and neglect
the ideas of who we were we eject
We dance on lines between buildings
scraping the skies with circuits
attached to our brains we share the colors
in our eyes with android thoughts
we enter the circus
The wolf in your heart howls at the future
The tiger in your head growls at the present
The snake on your skin shifted the past
The predator in your stomach looks at the lights
bending the jungle in glowing pupils
Our worlds cross over like fingers
at a street corner
Our universes come across
of each other like eyes, dreams, thoughts and spheres
Our places mix like sweat
at a street corner
Our minds reflect
actions in time spaces
MACHINERY
It breathes and hums in dark universes
It's controlled by others
It takes and gives
It depends on electricity
It lights up the dark
It calculates the next step
It's predictable
It communicates with others of the same species
It consists of a brain, a core and a body
It's made by hands moving in dark rooms
from drawings made by brain activity
It's a production of a production
It's wired up
It's connected to others of the same kind
It's an achievement of humanity
It's a brick in a big city
It's the insides of a skeleton
It develops, making other machines
It's made by hands, touching and adjusting
IT’S HUMAN
I saw a blind man searching
I saw a young girl crying
I saw an angry woman shouting
I saw a poor boy laughing
The city machine pumps its stories
into my system I download the impressions
shaped by people influencing people
and I stand by when I walk by and see
what people do to each other
I laugh and cry and guess that it's human
I saw a couple of cops running around the corner
I saw a couple of couples cursing outside the club
I saw two dogs barking in the parking lot
I saw two men fighting with lightning in their eyes
The city machine pumps its short stories
into my system they twirl
BLACK SCREEN
I see a human in the machine
We play the cards on the screen
Behind me there's the past
Around me the city is a blast
I see a machine in the human
We sway in the wind as good as we can
In front of me there's a computer
In my apartment there's no trouble shooter
My face is the black screen
I hover like an UFO
My brain is the motherboard
I smoke like a gun
I see us fade out in the machines
I see us fade in, out of controls, sold, out of our souls,
growing old with the sun, snowing colder on my shoulder
I should have told her, I’m getting older
DISCONNECTED
You update my life
when your footsteps
is up the stairs
running out of excuses
I'm alive when my F5
shows me that
you're out there
out of reach
FROM THE INSIDE
My coat is hard to wear when you're hard to get
The rain on your hair when we're right there –
right here – is water under the bridge
Electrified drops from my mind
drip down on your skin
in a shape of human race
you're the hardware from the outside
to my software in this race from the crazy collide
FRAGILE FOUNDATION
You skyped me and tied me
to my chair you collide with me
Your face was red as an angry smiley
and before you said goodbye to me
you lied to me and said that
you haven't cried for me and applied to me
The sun was orange in your background window,
purple in mine,
I pack my bag,
be right back
You facebooked me and looked at me
in another situation where I shouldn't be
The sky was brand new and cold as hell in your world of jell-o,
mine was a farewell and a dream hello
I climb the night with you in sight
the train breaks the chain over a mountain
the water stuck in motion like a street corner bimbo
falls in my eyes when we peak the horizon eclipse
I wake up in a town and now I'm going down
to get out of my limbo
HYBRID
One of two
Put together
In one of two
Worlds together
Bricks falling
In space
I, Connected
I, am, one of two, code of conducts
THE MESSENGER
It's in your hands
It's in your way
It's in your head
It's in your pocket
It's in the way
that your hand in my pocket, your head in mine
the messages between my limbs and central
I pronounce us creatures of life
UNDER THE SAME ROOF
I need no proof
I'm not a noob
I know it's a scoop
when we take the big loop
I need no proof
I've seen your face in a book
I'm on your hook
like a fish, I wish to move, upstream
from ocean to land
like the spring salmons
caught by claws on the way
to paradise I fray my day and pray
silently in my head with no crossed hands
I ask you to stay human and lay
the next brick on the road as if it was the work of a machine
I silently pray that your spleen vanish
in the dark nights of separated chambers under the same roof
there'll be nothing but crossed roads and crossed hands
fighting their way through life
in lubricated wheels of society
we scream under water and above the Equator
I’ll see you later alligator over the ramp
like a silhouette of a skater in the air,
like a tramp with a lot of stories to share
I’ll smell the asphalt on your skin as a road
to another destination
We're under the same roof
I need no proof but a letter
to tell me if it's worse or better
once in a while
to realise
that there's a human behind the electronic mile
SPIDER WEBS
They connect the plants with nature's strings
Late summer sun in raindrops
They crawl to the top, the young ones
and lift up to another place
Late summer kisses in teardrops
They cast their webs, the spiders
and are caught by a breeze
They lift up and leave to another place
finding themselves incapable
of finding back and I hope they find themselves
Late summer nights drip from my mind
onto my keyboard
They connect the world with strings, music, words and images
CYPHER
Birds flying high
Time passing by
Computers die
People lie
The projection of our present is on the sky
like superheroes and messages we fly and try
to be sly as a fox in the eye of the surfaces
I see trucks and hugs passing by like time, birds, people and new machines
hide a story between nature’s lines on the blurry faces by all means
I write my signature in between the lines folded blind
by times, birds and trains
bursting in veins
I miss the birds
I miss the words
I miss you as the first
In mixes of senses
I see us asking Y
