Introduction: The Real Justin Bieber
There is no doubt that the world of entertainment has had many stars and starlets born into it. Now added to this world of icons, is the young Justin Bieber who has managed to make his mark amongst the best at a very young age.
Most often it is just assumed that the most famed entertainers are Hollywood off springs, then along comes a young upstart like Justin. Aside from his talents though his success goes far beyond his musical capabilities. He has managed to work his way into the hearts of many, not and just within Canada where he is born, but on an international level.
With the economy being tough in so many parts of the world, and the violence on the up rise, then when a young person appears to be on the path of what the average adolescent only dreams of, its like each of them are enjoying a little of his success. Simply put, Justin is fulfilling the dreams of thousands of young people, and they are going to walk the journey with him.
It is true that this young man is not the first to become a star almost overnight, but the uniqueness appears because just like many other aspiring musicians, he used YouTube to put himself out there. This simple move alone has fed the hopes and dreams of tons of other aspiring musicians, who now feel that maybe they too have a chance waiting for them. Perhaps not on the level or with the flurry that Justin has experienced, but even some recognition would be deemed as a success.
How is this young star going to handle this pressure? A lot will depend on his character, his upbringing and his perception of life.
This book is not just being written to hash over all of the accomplishments of Justin Bieber today. It is being written so an understanding of him can be attained. It is meant to allow one to get to know the real Justin Bieber, and relate to him as a human being that is making a name for himself, and not just an icon that could be here today, and forgotten tomorrow.
Justin is about to learn that along with stardom comes a price. The question is, will he be able to pay the price and survive? Or will he get swallowed up like so many seasoned and experienced stars have done in the past.

Chapter 1: Paving the Way for Justin Bieber
Pattie Mallette
In 1976 a little girl was born and was given the name of Pattie Mallette. Pattie was born and raised in Ontario Canada, and was no different than any other newborn that takes their first breath. Pattie's childhood was not an easy one, but again she fit into the realm of so many other youngsters that have been subjected to a tough up bringing, and she was also counted in amongst those children that suffer sexual abuse.
Although Pattie's unstable lifestyle was so bleak, she did manage to obtain her high school education through attending classes at Juliet School and Western High School.
With a start such as this at a very young age, it is no wonder that Pattie went astray during her teen years. What should have been the start of her wonderful and exciting teen years, became an experience of a young life filled with drugs and alcohol, and a roller coaster of unstable and uneventful relationships with the opposite sex. It would appear that Pattie was set on a path of self destruction and a very dim future.
Combined with her rough childhood and her unhappy state of drugs and alcohol life seemed unbearable for Pattie, and feeling alone and abandoned she attempted to take her own life. What at this time could have been a real tragedy turned out to be the saving point of Pattie's life. While spending some time in a mental hospital, where finally she was receiving the emotional help she so desperately needed, Pattie began to develop a spiritual relationship with God.
Although the seed of her spiritual walk had begun, facing the world once again after leaving the hospital only placed Pattie back into the same circumstance that had led her to her attempted suicide. Although Pattie tried to follow her new found faith, being as young as she was, and as seasoned in the rough living she had been experiencing, Pattie herself will elude to the fact that she strayed from her faith for a period of time, and as a result became pregnant at seventeen.
This would seem like another strike against Pattie that would serve to take her further into the world of despair that she was accustomed to, yet it was the beginning of a very different path of life for her. Being with child, Pattie was adamant on refraining from any type of substance abuse. Here was a young lady who was soon facing the responsibility of bringing a child into the world that she would be responsible for.
Pattie seemed to readily accept this upcoming responsibility and held down several jobs so she could be self supportive. It was during this time that she truly began to develop her faith, and found solace in an evangelical church which helped her to set her roots in her Christianity.
The father of Pattie's soon to be born child was an ex-boyfriend of hers by the name of Jeremy Bieber.
During her 18th year, on March 1,1994, Pattie give birth to a healthy male infant whom she named Justin Drew Bieber. It is said that Pattie and Jeremy tried to form a relationship where they could provide a stabile environment to raise Justin in, but although attempted, it didn't work out, Both Pattie and Jeremy went their separate ways with Pattie accepting the task of raising Justin on her own, the best she could. However, although the relationship between Pattie and Jeremy was destined for nowhere, Jeremy did keep his presence known in Justin's life.
Jeremy Jack Bieber
Jeremy Bieber can take credit for having an influence on the destiny of his son's stardom as well. He himself has been a musician for many years, and actually encouraged Justin to learn to play some songs making use of the guitar. Some of Justin's fondest times spent with is Father evolves around Jeremy introducing Justin to Dylan songs such as "Knockin on Heavens Door", and then onto "Guns N Roses". It could be said that Jeremy Bieber was the instigator of Justin's interest in classic rock.
It is obvious when listening to Justice talk about his Father, than he cherishes what relationship they had during Justin's younger years. Justin's ability to drive a car is attributed to his Father's driving lessons. It is also said that Justin and his father have identical tattoos of a seagull, alleged to signify the bond between Father and Son.
