What is Virtual Coaching?
Millions of Americans currently see therapists. Millions more will seek therapy as on-line therapy becomes known as a confidential, anonymous forum to help everyone from the non-ambulatory to the stay-at-home parent to the busy businessperson. There are many ways to be successful as a coach without actually ever seeing clients face to face. Virtual coaching means offering services via telephone and/or Internet. It is being touted about in nearly every professional journal and nearly every public magazine and newspaper. It is sometimes called other things, such as, “tele-shrinking,” “tele-therapy,” “e-therapy,” “e-coaching,” “cyber-counseling,” “online coaching,” etc. Any way you look at it, it is the wave of the future for coaches!
