Never!

The female shriek pinned Colby Richards back against the flap of flesh-colored latex. That was it then. The giant nostril wasn’t going to work.

Not because the mechanics of it were hard. Not even because they didn’t have the budget to do it right. No, it wasn’t going to work because the reformed coke-head lead actress in this picture had the fortitude of Kleenex origami. Probably feared that getting snorted up the nostril with its lifelike mucosa would leave her a soggy pile of mush with two silicone bags bobbing about where her breasts used to be.

Argh! Colby should have known.

But he had so dreamed. So hoped. When rebel-artiste director Alexander Zukovsky had decided to illustrate Brian Belliveau’s metaphorical inhalation of Missy’s character with animatronics versus some cheap CGI trick or, heaven forbid, blue screen, Colby had almost shit himself.

Because there was something very pure about creating a giant nose and snorting Missy up it. That was art.

“Richards!”

This time the voice was a basso profundo with an Eastern European drag on the R’s. Zukovsky.
