As Rose waited for her new employers to show, she mentally ran through the little she knew about the two vampires. Eric Snow and Jonathan Fletcher were reclusive and had never run afoul of the law or given humans a reason to distrust them. They had three other Donors, none of whom shared their bed. The two vampires always shared lovers and were both Dominants…Her stomach knotted. She knew so little about them, yet she'd soon trust them with her life.
Her heart hammered in her chest and she trembled as she wondered what they might ask of her. Rose straightened her coat as best she could while kneeling, uncomfortably aware that she was naked underneath. As instructed. Why did that make her so wet? She was dripping, her clit ached, and her breasts ached to be touched. Rose tried to focus on the steady, soothing sound of the ticking of the clock on the wall--anything to distract her from her body's growing demands. She took a deep breath. She might want to run and hide, but her family needed her to do this.
Suddenly, the door opened and her new masters entered the bedroom. Rose couldn't stop herself from staring. The pictures she'd been shown hadn't done them justice. Eric, the younger of the two, had sandy blond hair and green eyes as well as a body that would make women drool. Jonathan was slightly taller, with dark hair and eyes, but a similarly muscular body. Both of them gave off an aura of power and barely contained menace that made Rose feel faint.
Could she really handle this? What am I doing here? She had a bizarre urge to lay on her back and bare her neck for them--just like a wolf who submitted to the alpha male of the pack. Problem was, doing either of those things would be like waving a red flag at a bull…
Rose dropped her gaze quickly before they could comment on her rudeness. She'd been told over and over that vampires didn't like to be looked in the eyes and what had she done? She had to please them. Fortunately, they didn't seem to care. As Jonathan busied himself pulling out chairs for all of them, Eric took her hand and pulled her upright.
