Never cook the alcohol or pour it into boiling water unless you want non-alcoholic jell-o shots.
Allow more time than usual for the jell-o to set because of the alcohol in it.
Be careful if you use Everclear in jell-o shots, as it will be extremely potent.
Citrus Jell-o Shots
Lime Jell-O Shots
Ingredients
250 ml boiling water
62,5 ml cold water
Lime flavoured jell-o
One of the following alcohol options
187,5 ml Absolut Citron OR
187,5 ml Tequila OR
187,5 ml Bacardi Limon
Method
Dissolve the jell-o in the boiling water.
Allow the jell-o to cool.
Add the cold water and the alcohol.
Stir well and cool before pouring into jell-o shot cups.
Lime With Cherry Jell-O Shots
Ingredients
250 ml boiling water
Lime flavor jell-o
125 ml cold water
62,5 ml 151 Rum
62,5 ml Cherry Brandy
Method
Dissolve the jell-o in the boiling water.
Allow the jell-o to cool.
Add the cold water and the alcohol.
Stir well and cool before pouring into jell-o shot cups.
