About the Author

Introduction

Congratulations on the arrival of your new born. This book is not like any baby book you have read before because unlike the experts who claim to have all the answers for your child's sleep needs, this book recognizes your child as the individual that they are.

The tips included in this book do not take the one size fits all approach to parenting that you will find in many of the popular parenting guides because that approach simply does not work because no two children are the same. Instead this book is simply the educated advice of an experienced mother. After raising four very unique children I know better than any one that what works for one child may not work for the next.

I aim to educate you in as many techniques as possible so that you can find the one that works for your unique child allowing you to spend your time enjoying your child instead of fighting them for a few minutes of sleep each night. Many new parents find themselves overwhelmed when trying to get their baby to sleep through the night. There is no need to spend any more sleepless nights or resort to medications to help your baby sleep.

In this book you will find more than 30 tips that will help you get even the fussiest baby to sleep and better yet to get them to stay asleep through the night. When you and your baby are both well rested you will be able to enjoy everything that makes being a new parent one of the most exciting and rewarding times in your life.

It is important to remember your baby is an individual like you and I; there will be things they like and things they dislike. If one of these tips does not work for your child don't get discouraged, simply try a new approach. With the use of these time tested methods of getting your baby to sleep through the night you are sure to find a method that works for your child.
