Dear Diary,
When I first got you, I promised that I would never ever lie or even sin by omission. That when I wrote in you, I would be utterly truthful and tell you everything that happened to me. I admit, after today's events I seriously reconsidered my promise. It would be my utter ruination if any of this got out. But I also can't bear the idea of forgetting one bit. If I had realized my impending nuptials would lead to the conversation I just had with my grandmother, I think I would have refused Anthony and retired to the country. Wait, let me start at the beginning.
