The Lazy Way to stop smoking
This also works if you are not lazy!
Introduction
The lazy way to stop smoking approaches the subject in a completely different way. The normal methods, obviously, have not worked for you otherwise you would not be reading this. I don't intend to knock any of the other methods as they do work for a lot of people which is fine for them. They didn't work for someone as stubborn as me so I had to devise one that would work for me. It did work and is still working.
The two points that most people dread are craving for a cigarette and the possibilities of weight increase. We must address the craving first. The best way to stop the craving is to reduce the nicotine intake gradually. It is important to reduce this intake at your own pace. This will become clear later. The lazy way relies upon simplicity. It does not bully you nor does it make you feel guilty about smoking. The lazy way to stop smoking tries to keep everything as normal as possible during the time you are giving up in order to maintain a smooth transition from smoking to not smoking with the least disruption in routine. This alone helps reduce any cravings or withdrawal symptoms therefore minimising the munchies/cigarette substitution leading to weight increase.
