Mrs. Preston’s Drama Class

By: Luke Boyd

Chapter One: Table 2 goes down the drain.

Ok, this is not your typical novel. This book describes a class that was perfect then fell into a down fall. The main reason the class is on a down fall is because relationships. I don’t see why we are just 10 and 11 year old kids! One relationship that is going on is Mary Kat Barber and a person I’m not allowed to put his name in this book. They have been together since kindergarten. That will be important later on. Mary Kat’s best friend Ann-Margaret Swindall and now ex-boyfriend Grayson Mead Davis were one of the biggest relationships around. Did I mention that they all sat at table 2 in the class? On November 2, 2010 Grayson told me and the anonymous source at lunch that Mary Kat and Ann Margret were cheating on them. The person that they were suposively cheating on them with was Seth Tunstall which then came out to be wrong. So now Ann Margret and Grayson are not together, but I think it was about to happen anyway. The source, however just played cool so it never affected him or Mary Kat. Then table two split. There is one person I have already talked about can you guess?

Chapter 3: Soldier Seth.

The guy is Seth Tunstall also known as Soldier Seth. You see, he has this lunchbox that fits his head just right and it makes anybody laugh even if you’re so mad you could hit a wall, he’ll make you laugh! Now Seth is one of my best friends and he also sits at table two. He is an Auburn fan and a Florida fan so when we talk about football I win at least most of the time. Soldier Seth is sometimes a smart guy but when he wants to be he can play dumb really well. He was the first to move after table two split. He and Grayson could not stand the drama any more, so now Seth is at table six and Grayson is at table four.

Chapter 4: Luke Parker gets a girlfriend

My best friend Luke Parker has never had a girlfriend. So on Wednesday November 10, 2010 Luke got a girlfriend. Her name is Hannah Lorinz. At first, they were a big deal at school. But, one weekend later, they broke up. Well, that same day Hannah broke up with Luke, Luke decided to ask a girl in our class named, Olivia Rager. He decided this all in science, and everyone knew about this except Olivia. She said yes. They were together forever! They were the Valentine Class Favorite! Now when I said forever, I really didn’t mean that. Luke broke up with her sometime in May. He really had no reason to break up with her, though. She didn’t do anything to make him angry. But, we will come back to them later though when we get there.

Chapter 5: Ann-Margaret Gets Another Boyfriend

Back to November. Ann-Margaret broke up with Grayson because she and Mary Kat walked in to school on November 2 and Grayson and this kid named Alec Timmons were whispering and laughing at Ann-Margaret and Mary Kat. They knew something was up. Well, eventually, Ann-Margaret and Mary Kat questioned the “unknown source” enough times that he told them what was going on. Grayson and Alec were laughing at them because of this code word they came up with. “Cliff-Cliff.” Well, this drove Ann-Margaret and Mary Kat crazy! So, again, they asked the “unknown source” until he told them what this meant. It meant break-up break-up. Now, Grayson had not broken up with Ann-Margaret yet, so she broke up with him. This all happened on November 2. On November 18 (Thanksgiving Break), John Mark Weaver and Ann-Margaret Swindall started going out. They didn’t tell anybody, until Ann-Margaret told Mary Kat on the bus on the way to Camp Cosby. Mary Kat never told anyone. But, some people figured it out when they sat with each other every day for every meal. But, it was finally revealed at the Christmas party at school. Well, this surprised everybody because every kid and teacher in that school could’ve told you that they have always despised each other since Kindergarten. But, they’re still together.

Chapter 6: Luke Boyd and Harley

So this is in December. I, Luke Boyd, asked Harley Simmons out. She said yes. We were a couple for a really long time. We went to the Valentine’s dance together and stayed a couple for the rest of fifth grade and over the summer.

Chapter 7: Luke and Olivia… Splits Ville!

Well, Luke and Olivia have been together for the longest, other then Mary Kat and the “unknown source.” Until May. In Mrs. Preston’s class, we go on breaks outside almost everyday. Well, several day before school got out, graduation, we had no idea what this break outside had in store. As usual, all the girls sat at there usual table, but they were missing two boys. Me…. And Luke Parker. We sat on the ground with the rest of the boys. So, Olivia yells for me and Parker to go sit with them. Well, Parker turns around and makes a heart shape with and hand, then breaks the heart apart (breaking up with her). She took it well. Because, that same day, she started going out with Bryce Davis. Now Olivia has liked Bryce since the beginning of 5th grade, when he asked her to homecoming. I think she never stopped liking him. Well, she did when she broke up with him in 6th grade, but you will hear all about that in my next book.

Chapter 8: Last Days….

Now, our last few days at JSJ are winding down. Everybody was upset, but trying to make the best of these last days. The P.E teachers took us to the playground on our last day, like the first day of Kindergarten. At this point, nobody cared “who-was-going-out-with-who!” Everybody was friends with everybody. We laughed, and talked about our previous times at the best school ever! We talked about middle school, and how terrible we thought it would be. How we would never let them dang Southsidians come between us. How we would always be best friends. How we would always stick together. Although all of the drama, fights, and arguments we have had, I have had the best times of my life at this school. And I believe I speak for everyone when I say this. I will never forget my teachers, my classes, or the best friends I have made here. I will miss you JSJ, and hope you miss us, too when we are gone.
