To make a Heartburst Towel, you will need:
* a size 24 tapestry needle
* a huck towel with approximately 9 floats per inch
* 1 skein of dark embroidery floss
* 1 skein of medium embroidery floss
* 1 skein of light embroidery floss
* a ruler
* a pair of scissors
Please take the time to prepare the towel and prepare the threads before you start.
Color Suggestions
I do not give any exact DMC numbers because I make these towels in a variety of colors using what I have leftover from other projects. Play around with your scraps to find three shades that look nice together. As long as there is some variation to the shading (light, medium, dark), you can use anything. Try all shades of pink. Try a dark blue, medium purple, and pale pink. Try all shades of green. Whether colors will go together or not depends on the exact hue, and you can judge that by holding the threads together and seeing how they look!
