Introduction

After reading this book, you will have every thing you need to go out and purchase a home to live in regardless of what your credit situation is. I am a real estate investor, and I have been for over a dozen years. Besides learning real estate investing on the job, I also studied under two of the absolute best residential real estate investors in the Country.

Those teachers were Peter Fortunato, and John Schaub. Peter and John have both been investing in residential real estate for over 40 years each. If you would like to become an expert in residential real estate investing, I would highly recommend that you attend their seminars.

I am also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida, and a principal in a mortgage brokerage company, so you are going to get the added benefits from those experiences as well.

In this book I am also going to show you how to protect yourself from the Crooks and Scammers who are looking to steal your money. There probably has never been a better time to purchase a home for someone with bad credit, and I am going to show you how to do it right!

Chapter 1-The “You Need Good Credit to Buy a House” Myth

When I started my real estate investing career, I was broke and had screwed up credit, and my business partner had just declared personal bankruptcy. In one year we managed to purchase nine rental houses in Southwest Florida. We were able to do this without ever having anyone pull our credit or even ask for it. We also never filled out any application or were asked to show tax returns or proof of employment.

In one year, we borrowed roughly $1 million dollars with bad credit and never once talked to a bank or mortgage broker. I am sure this might sound like something impossible for you, but it is just to make the point that needing good credit to buy a house is a myth.
