Strength…

***

“A man who recognize his weaknesses can always have strengths”

This statement is for individuals who want to work on self-improvement- they think that their weaknesses are setbacks. But this statement points out that weaknesses are just blemished strengths. If a person takes the time to evaluate their weaknesses and work on them, he or she can transform those weaknesses into strengths.

(Hint!)

Everyone has weakness. Therefore, one should always leave room for improvement.

HIGH SELF-ESTEEM

Center your eyes on this winner.

Her intelligence is accompanied

with or without degrees.

Competitors formed against

her may not hinder,

this journey travels out

of 360 degrees.

She is young,

her wisdom flows high

as man sleeps.

She gets her energy from the sun.

There will be NO just between the sheets

he who stands by her side is only head strong.

Her beauty flows perfectly no matter what she wears,

fearing God keeps her from doing wrong.

As she walks by one can only stare,

for she is always on her throne…

Interpretation:

When a woman has high esteem, she conducts herself in a way to show the world her beauty.

Win or Lose

I will always be a Star

Peace…

***

“To pass prejudice on to children can mold behavior;

the effects may hinder an open mind.”

***

“People are human to reveal things, then ask them to omit what you revealed is waste less.”

This statement holds no disrespect for the law. It seems ludicrous to believe that after revealing something physically or verbally, we can ask people to then disregard it, and what we have revealed will vanish. The human brain just does not work that way. This is why one of the things people say is when you have to get something off your chest, “Tell it to God.”

(Hint!)

People judge; furthermore, even if we try to suppress what has been said, it will never truly dissolve.

America

The umbrella

In looking around to

Observe the world

I see Jews, Muslins

And Christians then

I brood over what we all have in

Common aside of being human

Life was my conclusion

Lets love one another

For the children

Truth…

***

“To avoid conflict is best; yet, Sometimes to scream to get an answer is the only way”

This statement has been debated since the beginning of time. It is almost like the nature versus nurture concept. However, I ride both sides of the fence with both phenomenons. I believe that to avoid conflict is the best way to handle any situation; as Martin Luther king Jr. stood for non-violence. But, sometimes, one has to speak up loud to receive an answer. Obviously, this concurs with Malcolm X on any means necessary to get the job done. Now, I do not promote violence, I am just clearly stating that sometimes people should push for what they believe in.

(Hint!)

Timing is something that can either work in your favor or cause greater damage.

WHAT IS A BLACK MAN?

What is a black man

you asked?

He is knowledge can’t you see it in his eyes.

Yes! You noticed his pants saggy

with his hair nappy.

But, that is just in his culture

it helps him stay true.

You see! You, tell him constantly,

to get a job.

Yet! You remove all the doorknobs!

You make him stop talking slang

when he didn’t ask you to give up your thang!

Each day he awakes,

hoping not to pass away,

holding many talents

but still jail time he spends.

Depending on his day

he may act bitter or sweet.

Cause, he is the provider for his family to eat!

Facing racism is an everyday thang,

he knows about enduring pain.

His woman by his side

she helps him stand tall,

wishing she could carry the law.
