Yes! It’s easier than you think. If you implement this system exactly, and I mean exactly, it will produce outstanding results. In some cases it may take you longer than 7 days to get a job. But if you follow this system perfectly, you will find a job very quickly. You’ll be amazed with the results and you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner.
Let me give you just one simple example from a student of ours. We had one student who applied for a job where over 30 people showed up for same days interviews. Our student didn’t think they had a chance. Somewhat reluctantly, they followed through with action. They worked our system exactly as we laid it out. And do you know what happened? That’s right, they got the job! They got it in spite of over 30 other applicants…in…are you ready...3 days! As a matter of fact, the hiring employer told our student that they were the only one that used this principle that we taught our student. The employer said that in essence, our system, was in fact the reason they hired our student. Keep in mind, this student used only one simple step in our system. Yet, they stood out amongst 30 plus applicants.
Was it because our student had more experience than the other applicants?...No.
Was it because our student knew someone at the place of business who recommended them?...No.
Was it because our student had all of the right answers during the interview and stood out, head and shoulders, above the rest?...No.
The reason our student got the job was simply because they used one simple strategy that you will learn in this book. Together with the many other strategies we provide, you’ll be an unstoppable job-finding machine!
Before we even get started, there is something you need to ask yourself. Your answer to this question will, more than anything else, determine how much success you’ll have in applying our system and getting a job. If you answer it correctly, you will get a job quickly. Answer it wrong, and you may struggle for months, or even years, trying to find a job. So here’s the question:
How bad do you want a job?
People’s answers, and hence their motivation, usually range from the following:
“Not at all”
“A little bit”
“About average”
“A lot”
“I have an overwhelming, burning desire”
Which category of people do you think will be the most likely to get a job within 7 days? You guessed it – those people with an overwhelming, burning desire to get a job. If you don’t have that, then your chances of getting a job in 7 days are practically nil.
If you don’t currently have this level of desire, I’d encourage you to create it. Develop this desire. Think about it, focus on it, talk about it, and create it. You may find that you need a job for any of the following reasons, or combination of these reasons:
To pay bills or get out of debt
To take care of your family
To buy a new car
To take that dream vacation next year
To help you feel good about yourself
To afford a place to live or get your own place
To buy food
To regain your parent’s or spouse’s respect
To have money to go on a date
These can all be very powerful motivators for getting a job. I’d encourage you to think about which factors are your biggest motivators and focus on them constantly to create a burning desire right away.
You’ve got to want this more than anyone else. If you’re only doing this because your parents want it, or your significant other wants it, forget about it. If you don’t really want it, or if you aren’t 100% committed, then spend your time doing something else. It won’t happen for you. You need to be willing to put in whatever time and effort it takes to get a job. If you’re not willing to do that then…forget about it.
So do some soul searching and think about what getting a job would mean to you. And then get ready to do it.
If you need a little help with your motivation, or perhaps just a bit of assistance in getting your mind right for your job search, we highly recommend the following program. It will help you, not only with your job search, but it is guaranteed to give you a completely knew attitude and outlook on life. It’s worth a look. Check it out here.
Starting today, your full-time job is going to be finding a job. That means you’ll be getting up early, getting groomed, and leaving the house by a certain time so that you can be at businesses by 8:00am. Some of you may need to pack a lunch the night before and get your clothes ready. You’ll take a short lunch break, then get right back to business. You’ll head for home sometime after 5:00pm and take a break for dinner. After dinner, you’ll get busy with other tasks from our system.
This is not going to be easy. You will need to put in at least 10 hour days the first week, and at least 12 hour days every week after the first week. You’re going to work your butt off. But it will be worth it.
A few weeks from now you can still be broke and without a job, or you can have money in your pocket and be on your way. It’s up to you. It’s all a matter of how bad you want it. The weeks are going to go by regardless of what you do. So where do you see yourself in 30 days? My advice is to see yourself with a job, and then follow this system exactly, and actually be in that job in the next 7 to 30 days.
The economy doesn’t matter. The system is all that matters. If you work the system, you will get a job. It’s that simple.
Yes, it is true that not as many companies are hiring in a bad economy when compared to a good economy. Many companies are still laying people off. Perhaps you are one of those people who was recently laid off.
But this fact is even more reason to put this system into practice. You see, since the economy is bad, there is more competition for the few jobs that are available. By implementing this system, you will stand out from the competition.
All things being equal, who is the manager going to hire: someone who is unprepared and unschooled in the art of getting a job, or the person who tells them exactly what they want to hear, presented in an effective and professional manner, in a systemic, attention getting fashion? Of course it’s the latter.
When you work this system, you will have an advantage over everyone else applying for the same position. All you have to do is, you got it: work the system.
This is not a career counseling book. However, I do have some suggestions which may be more helpful than a career counselor.
If you are looking for an entry level job, or a job which doesn’t require an advanced degree, your best bet is going to be the food service industry. The food service industry is not only your best bet for finding a job, but it’s your best bet for quickly making the most money.
Take, for example, a server in a mid to higher end restaurant. Your salary will be minimum wage, but with your tips it’s not uncommon to make $25 to $50 per hour or more. It also has the advantage of giving you cash in your pocket each day, without having to wait for a paycheck.
There is also enormous turnover in the food service industry. People are always quitting or getting fired. Managers often need people on short notice and on a regular basis.
Food service jobs are very common jobs for people who need steady income while they go to school, trying to start a business, or who are looking for work in another industry and use it as a stepping stone. Since a lot of the work is at night, food service jobs are ideal for those of you who are going to school, or those of you who want to go back to school and get a degree or advanced degree.
However, this system will also work with many other jobs, particularly those for which you can visit and speak to someone with the power to hire you in person. For example, office work in lawyer’s, doctor’s, dentist’s, and other small business’s offices. This system also works great for all types of construction and warehouse jobs.
Even if you have advanced degrees, this system will work for you – the concepts are still the same. You will have a more difficult time, however, of speaking directly with the person who has hiring authority. This is particularly true of larger companies. These companies tend to have Personnel or Human Resource Offices who handle hiring. However, it’s still possible in many cases to make contact with the person for which you would be working, and bypass the Personnel Department. If you go to smaller companies, you will not have this problem and will likely be able to speak directly with the owner or manager who has hiring authority.
That’s why I recommend jobs where there is a manager on site, who is readily available, who has hiring authority. It’s much easier to get a job when you can speak directly with the person who does the hiring.
“Resume? Why do I need a resume?”. Several reasons. First, it’s a standard practice in most industries. And in the industries that it’s not, you will stand out as more professional, over all of your competition.
In addition, if you are fortunate enough to have numerous job skills, a degree, unique skills or training, your resume is the vehicle for informing your future employer of that key information.
There is much debate about whether you should or should not put your picture on your resume. If you are attractive or have better than average looks, I highly recommend it. As we discussed before, people who are attractive have a much greater chance of being hired than someone with average or below average looks. Just make sure the picture is good quality. It doesn’t need to be professional, but you should think about having it ‘Photoshopped’ to make it look more professional.
If you are a guy, and have average or below average looks, don’t despair. There are ways that can quickly and easily improve your looks so that you are in the ‘better than average’ looks category. This program uses very unique and easy techniques to vastly improve anyone’s looks. It’s definitely worth a try. Try it out here.
And women, don’t be left out. Here is a special program for transforming your looks and your life. It’s very inexpensive, and definitely worth a try. Try it out here.
Here is a sample resume. It’s very simple and to the point. It’s all you’ll need for most jobs. I’ve included the resume as a bonus to this system package. Once you finish this book, open the resume and customize it to your particular situation.
