Characters
Chairman: He’s the politician who employs assassins to kill his political rival.
Chairman’s Wife: She will be with her husband when the police arrested him.
J-One: He’s the major cast in the plot with enough dough to throwaway with his gangs on gambling, clubbing etc.
J-One’s Mum: She’s a social woman that’s always travelling abroad for business or pleasure instead of devoting her time to take care of her home.
J-One Dad: He’s a prominent figure & politician in the society who is always hunting for more wealth via contracts & politics & paying less attention to his family.
Prison Warder: He’s the guard in charge of J-One’s prison who provide him for his people who visited him.
James Bond: He’s another gang leader from another school who aim a shot at J-One after losing to him in a big gamble & was beaten up with his gang in an inter-house-sport.
James Bond Mum: She was dropout from the university after been raped & impregnated by J-One’s dad.
James Bond Grand Pa: He will vow that her daughter education has come to a full stop.
James Bond Grand Ma: She will plead to her husband to no avail about forgiving her daughter & making her continue her education after having her baby.
Deborah: She’s was beaten up by her teacher for not having sufficient books & appraised for been picked on for quizzical competition as the most brilliant female student.
BAYO: He’s another important cast in this plot who battle with hardship & comes out successfully in life because of his brilliant performance & good deeds.
BAYO’s Parent: They are not well to do but did their best to train their children to be Godly & responsible.
Other killers (K-Rod & Big Shot): They will exchange gun battle with James-Bond, the OWOI policeman & J-One dad’s bodyguard outside the hotel.
J-One Dad’s Guards: Both of them are stationed at the entrance of their boss apartment in the hotel.
Hotel Receptionist: She’s the person that show James Bond the way to his hired room.
Hotel Servant: She’s the one that provide James Bond with food & drink in the hotel.
The Two lawyers: One of them will prosecute J-One while the other will appeal on his behalf at the court.
Judge: He’s the one who sentence J-One to ten year’s imprisonment.
Court audience: They include J-One’s parents; court clerk & other people that witness the judgment.
The Biker: He brought James Bond to the pool house & rode off with him immediately he fired a shot.
Pool Agent: He’s the owner of the gamble that was shot by a gunman on a bike in an attempt to protect J-One.
Fire: He’s one of J-One’s gang who used the knowledge he acquired from his dad to tamper with his school electrical control box to accomplish their mission.
Ministers: They will accompany the governor to show his newly completed project to the press.
Governor: He attended the quizzical competition & presents the best students scholarships to continue their education abroad.
Question Master: He’s the one who throw questions to the students that partake in the quizzical competition.
Head Teacher: He’s the one who walked J-One down to principal office for blowing knock-out banger in the classroom.
Pastor: He’s the one who tell J-one’s mum to bring her family for prayer after listening to her.
Rachael: She’s one of the students from J-WON’s school who gossip about the big fight on the inter-house sport day.
ASA: He’s one of J-WON’s gang from school who is a very fast runner.
PLANKER: He’s one of J-WON’s gang from school who‘s good at fighting with plank.
Ken: He’s J-WON’s friend from another school that was used to trap J-Won Male teacher.
Landlord: He’s the one who threating to drive away BAYO’s family away from his house if they fail to pay his money.
School Security Man: He’s stationed at the gate of J-Won school as a watch dog and he’s the person who saves the school from fire hazard.
The Informant: He’s the one who overhead ASA’s Father talking carelessly about money to his friend in the bar.
Barman: He’s the person who disclosed ASA Father’s contact to the informant.
ASA Father: He’s well to do & known for his riches as one of the successful business man in the state.
ASA Father’s Friend: He’s the person wining with ASA’s father at the bar.
Four Burglars: They are the people that broke into ASA father‘s house to steal & attempt attacking ASA without success.
Book seller: She works in J-WON’s school bookshop.
Fire’s Uncle: He will visit Fire & his friends at the station.
Paul: He’s the one who reported J-Won to the principal as a suspect to the money stolen in the classroom.
Paul Parent: They’re the people who visited their son at the hospital.
Press Official: He’s the one inquiring about the present governor roles in the state.
Respondents: They are the people interviewed by the press official about the present administration.
Patrol Policemen: They are officers of the federal police who arrest J-Won & his gang on the street for beating up Paul.
Policeman in mufti: He’s the one of the federal policemen who phoned J-won to tell him that the police are on their way to raid the cafe.
Food Hawker: She’s the person who sold food to ASA & his friends on their way home from school.
Phone Operator: She’s the person doing phone call business by the road side.
Federal Policemen: They are known for their corrupt pratices. Their DPO was used to shut up Paul’s father about his beaten son issue & one of their officers collect bribe for feeding some fraudsters with information.
The Principal: He will be pulled down with his tie from the school bus by one of the bad boys from the other schools on the interhouse-sport day.
Food Sellers: She’s the one who sold food to J-One and his pals during break time.
Man-O-War: He was beaten up with a charm by one of the bad boys from the host school.
First Doctor: He’s the one who adviced James Bond Grandpa not to allow her daughter to impregnate her pregancy.
Second Doctor: He’s the person assuring Paul’s mum that her son will recover because he’s responding to treatment.
Nurse: She’s the person who treats Paul at the hospital.
OWOI Policemen (State Policemen): They comprises of DPO & other junior officers that are set up by the state government. They picked up James Bond in a gun battle outside the hotel.
Male & female Teachers: They consist of the female teachers that seize J-one’s walkman & punish them on the assembly for touching her bum; male teachers that beat Deborah for not having books & other teachers from the other schools.
The Play
Scene One
School Panel
The senior staffs of the school meet to discuss the issues filed against J-one. His parent & the staff offended were also present. The class Captain, his Assistant & two other students were also there as witness. The principal was there as questioner and a judge.
Principal to J-One: You’re accused of two different offences, the first which was mingling with other bad heads in the school to do series of bad acts within and outside the school which in turn tarnish the image of the school. The second was threaten your teacher with a harmful & poisonous insect, spoiling her practical & disturbing the whole school in an attempt to pay her back for seizing the Walkman you’re playing with while the lesson is going on which is against the school rules.
Are you guilty or not guilty of the case filed against you?
J-one: I’m not guilty.
Principal: Everyone here will like to know why you’re not guilty.
J-one: I will like to know if there’s any law in this school or the country at large that says we should not keep friend but enemy. When there was no response he concluded that there’s none? Secondly is there any prove to back up the claim that I’m involved in any bad acts in this school?
Panelist: They will look at each other to search for an answer but found none.
J-one: If there’s none, I believe it’s injustice for us to call people names that don’t belong to them in an attempt to spoil their reputation. Everything happens like this.
Scene Two
Flash back on Classroom Event (Visually)
Teacher: She will write the new topic on the board saying- I instructed you all to read this topic before today class.
She will ask questions from J-One & some of his friends but there were beating about d bush but BAYO will answer her questions beautifully.
Teacher: She’ll be moving around to explain the topic.
J-One: He will insert earphone in his ear to listen to a walkman & dance with his head.
Teacher: She will notice him and demand for the walk man & stretch her hand to collect it.
PLANKER: He will seize the opportunity of what’s going on, deliberately throw his pen on the floor, pretend picking it up and stylishly looking inside his teacher’s skirt.
Teacher: Our next class will be used for practical. Any of the insects listed in the text book that can be used for the practical.
The entire pupil in this class must come with one of the insects; you can easily get some around your surroundings. You should be careful when handling them because some of them are harmful.
Scene Three
Flash back on Laboratory Event
Teacher: J-won
J-ONE: Yes Aunty
Teacher: Come over with your specimen.
J-One: OK Ma. This’d specimen. (He will hand over the specimen to her without removing it from the tin)
Teacher: She will open it & start screaming; the tin will fall off her hand giving the specimen-(the scorpion) opportunity to bolt away.
Other Students: They will be screaming & running helter skater.
Back on Panel Discussion
J-One: I don’t think obeying our teacher’s instructions is a crime in this school, is it?
Nobody responded.
Principal to Witnesses: Is scorpion listed among the specimens for practical?
Witnesses: Yes.
Principal to Teacher: You should have excluded scorpion from the list, even if it’s listed in the text book since you know you can’t handle it.
Principal to J-One: The school will refund whatever you spent to purchase the specimen back to you.
Scene Four
Going Home from School
ASA: He will stop a food seller on their way home, order for food and instruct the lady to serve all his friends to their satisfaction.
J-one: He will signal ASA & leave with other friends when they’re done with their food.
ASA: He will order for the second round & later tell the woman to follow him to his close by house to collect her money.
The fenced house which was known to the bad boys as an uncompleted building was used to deceive the food seller.
ASA: He will hasten his movement the moment they enter the house and took off, climb the fence to the other street before the lady could alter a word.
Food Seller: Thief, thief, thief
Scene Five & Six
Business Center
Policeman (dressed in mufti): I want to make a call.
Phone Operator: You can have the phone.
Policeman: Hello J-one, leave the café now without any further delay & don’t forget my pay for this vital information.
CAFÉ
J- One: OK.
J- One: Guys, this hacking business don spoil today.
Fire: Wait, where are you going?
J-One: The police are almost here.
J-One’s Gang: They will all rush out of the café.
Policemen: They will pack their van in front of the cybercafé & rush out from the van.
ASA: He will be approaching the café, collide with the policemen & bolt immediately while some of the police will run after him.
