Author bio:
I am the author of The Weekend Trippers, originally published by Bank House Books in October 2011. I have now republished it myself and all the author royalties will go the Rifles Benevolent Trust. The Weekend Trippers is the true story of my father-in-law, Ted Taylor, and his part in the Rifle Brigade's last stand in Calais in May 1940. Whilst writing The Weekend Trippers I began writing a docu-drama based on the diaries of both Ted and his fiancee Brenda. While Ted languished in various POW camps in Poland Brenda waited for him, surviving the Blitz and working as a nurse in London. Called The Cat & The Nightingale Saga, these are in several volumes and also available in print. I have also written another novel called A Second in Time based on the strange disappearance of 30,000 POWs at the end of World War 2. I have wide ranging interests and together with my husband David I have also written two spiritual books, The Re-Enlightenment and Holiday from Hell which are available on Amazon. I live in Essex with my husband David and a rather ancient, slightly deaf, Border Collie called Reubin. I work at the Military Corrective Training Centre in Colchester, the UK Forces only remaining detention centre and I am currently writing a book about its history. I have also written some housing guides for those leaving HM Forces. For more information please visit www.carolemctbooks.info

The Architecture of Snow (The David Morrell Short Fiction Collection #4) by David Morrell The Architecture of Snow (The David Morrell Short Fiction Collection #4) by David Morrell Feb. 22, 2012 $0.99 14064 words Sample 3%
Author bio:
DAVID MORRELL David Morrell is the award-winning author of First Blood, the novel in which Rambo was created. He was born in 1943 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. In 1960, at the age of seventeen, he became a fan of the classic television series, Route 66, about two young men in a Corvette convertible traveling the United States in search of America and themselves. The scripts by Stirling Silliphant so impressed Morrell that he decided to become a writer. In 1966, the work of another writer (Hemingway scholar Philip Young) prompted Morrell to move to the United States, where he studied with Young at the Pennsylvania State University and received his M.A. and Ph. D. in American literature. There, he also met the esteemed science-fiction author William Tenn (real name Philip Klass), who taught Morrell the basics of fiction writing. The result was First Blood, a ground-breaking novel about a returned Vietnam veteran suffering from post-trauma stress disorder who comes into conflict with a small-town police chief and fights his own version of the Vietnam War. That “father” of modern action novels was published in 1972 while Morrell was a professor in the English department at the University of Iowa. He taught there from 1970 to 1986, simultaneously writing other novels, many of them international bestsellers, including the classic spy trilogy, The Brotherhood of the Rose (the basis for a top-rated NBC miniseries that premiered after a Super Bowl), The Fraternity of the Stone, and The League of Night and Fog. Eventually wearying of two professions, Morrell gave up his academic tenure in order to write full time. Shortly afterward, his fifteen-year-old son Matthew was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer and died in 1987, a loss that haunts not only Morrell’s life but his work, as in his memoir about Matthew, Fireflies, and his novel Desperate Measures, whose main character lost a son. “The mild-mannered professor with the bloody-minded visions,” as one reviewer called him, Morrell is the author of thirty-three books, including such high-action thrillers as The Naked Edge, Creepers, and The Spy Who Came for Christmas (set in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he lives). Always interested in different ways to tell a story, he wrote the six-part comic-book series, Captain America: The Chosen. His writing book, The Successful Novelist, analyzes what he has learned during his four decades as an author. Morrell is a co-founder of the International Thriller Writers organization. Noted for his research, he is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School for wilderness survival as well as the G. Gordon Liddy Academy of Corporate Security. He is also an honorary lifetime member of the Special Operations Association and the Association of Intelligence Officers. He has been trained in firearms, hostage negotiation, assuming identities, executive protection, and car fighting, among numerous other action skills that he describes in his novels. To research the aerial sequences in The Shimmer, he became a private pilot. Morrell is an Edgar and Anthony nominee as well as a three-time recipient of the distinguished Stoker Award from the Horror Writers Association. The International Thriller Writers organization gave him its prestigious ThrillerMaster Award. With eighteen million copies in print, his work has been translated into twenty-six languages.

At this time books are on AllRomanceebooks.com or smashwords.com or amazon.com. I write what I dream. I dream because I can't always be or do. And I always write to make people think and laugh and feel. I hope I succeed. I've been creating what I believe we're all in search of. Friendships and romance; communication and pure, simple fun. Throw in some misadventures and misunderstandings, not to mention a few not quite truths, and it should be a roller coaster of laughs, tears and thoughts. WindSwept Narrows Resort & Casino - Modern, contemporary romance with the occasional mystery and usually lots of family issues. They're building a community that's not greed based, but on the well-being of all. Hopefully. Yes, there's lots of romance - sometimes more than one per story. Yes, there's really sensual and sexy scenes. Devil Hills is a town between Seattle and Spokane, on the edge of the snow capped mountains on the Seattle side. It's a shifter town...and a few others. And of course, just like our world, there are those who believe they know what's best for everyone. Yep, lots of sex, arguments and laughter. Typical human mistakes and misunderstandings - but with a little fur thrown in to complicate things. Independence: Coming soon....Bailey...what happens in a life when a little Dom and D/s are thrown into it. Definitely NOT for the faint of heart...but it'll make you laugh and maybe even identify. Breanna...slightly more spicy with 2 smart, caring guys falling for 1 slightly mixed up barista who makes wicked coffee and loves cooking. While I haven't a series name - there is a follow-up to her coming out before the end of the year, Danea...a fishy little tale on the coast of Washington. Yes, some of my stories have more than one romance in it. Because it's not a bad thing to have friends *************** A bio - wow - I live to the South of Seattle along the coast in a small town called Des Moines. Gorgeous Puget Sound as our backyard, with snow capped mountains in almost all directions. I've been writing for over 20 years and in that time I have noticed how hard it is for certain people to embrace their sexuality, and very very few have the backbone to even discuss it! I think sex is a very important attribute to our lives and is necessary in order to live a balanced, happy and healthy lifestyle. It exists for exploration and simulation; it exists for bonding and pure, simple happiness at the whirlwind of sensations that can overwhelm and take your breath away. I hope that my stories simply depict that, ignite the fires within and maybe even give some pointers on how to please your partner in some new exciting ways. Bottom line: they are here for enjoyment. So read, enjoy and live the happy healthy lives we are all meant to live. Now - a dedication: I can't say I grew up with anyone encouraging me, and that's fine, they had things in their life they were dealing with. My parents and 1st husband and current in-law said it was 'a nice little hobby'. When you get that kind of reaction from people who matter, it has the effect that you no longer tell anyone. And no one ever asked what I did for hours on end over a typewriter and then VIOLA! a computer keyboard! So no one knew. Until I met and fell in love with my 2nd husband. He found the large file cabinet filled with thick manuscripts, filed in alphabetical order by lead female name. And he talked to me about writing. My writing. The single thing in my life aside from my two grown children, that I adored and cherished. They became my community; my friends. It's an amazing thing what happens when someone believes in you. Maybe it rubs off and you begin to believe in yourself, too. So everything I've created and set free on the internet to share are thanks to him and his belief and love. He helps me with words I know but that are stuck in my head floating around somewhere; he helps me spot gaps in my stories and we bounce ideas off one another for covers for my girls. He encourages me and has also come to learn some interesting traits about himself that he'd submerged because of a bad relationship. So we've grown together and continue to explore all that we can. He has my love and my heart and my gratitude for sharing a little of his courage and belief. Email: sarajane_97408@yahoo.com Website: http://www.facebook.com

She is affectionately known as T.S. Presley. She rather enjoys being known as the girl next door. The Belizean inside of her sets off the kind of atmosphere that everyone likes to fantasize about, warm breeze and the unexpected adventure a person can find on a tropical island. Many of her short stories are basic on this tropical paradise in remote areas. She had been writing for years just as a hobby to vent some frustrations. When she got to high school she let some of her peers read her writing and they all swore she would have been the best novelist back thing. She didn't take writing serious until she met Kate Donovan. Once that meeting took place she became active in writing community where she thought she would fit in. T. S. Presley has provided assistance with the judging of the Romance Golden Heart competition. She currently belongs to Writing.com and ERA (Erotic Readers and Writer’s Association) as well numerous other online forums. She works for the State of California as a Senior Legal Typist and draws her inspiration from her surroundings, nothing of the legal sorts though. She enjoys spending time with family as well as her dog King who is a Chihuahua (Short coat) mixed breed and believe he rules the world in an untypical fashion, and for the most part he does.

Hello I’m Quentin Graves. My first series of books will introduce you to my heroin, Agent Mallory Rowe, a five year veteran of the Special Intelligence Service. Meet Mallory in her first mission, "Kill Shot". I also write a series of books in the Dark Ember stories. What is a Dark Ember story you ask? It is story that tells the darker side of human nature, where I cover rape, murder, serial killers, and abuse. I write about the sadistic side of our nature that needs no vampires, werewolves, aliens, ghost or dark spirits. I write about the side of life that has all the monsters necessary to frighten us. They are all the more frightening because they exist in our day to day life. If you chose to delve into the dark side of our world, be fore warned; it will be filled with graphic depictions of rape, murder and torture. I hope by writing about it, I exorcise my own personal demons. I hope by reading it you exorcise yours. In the end the demons we must fear the most are us.

Author bio:
I was born in Australia, but raised and educated in the United States. The day I left Australia at age 2, was the very day my wife was born on the other side of the world. Thus the two of us began an 18,000 mile, 20 year journey to finally meet at a small college in upstate New York on Friday the 13th of December, (the luckiest day of my life). After college I became a computer programmer; mainframes at first, then minis and finally PC networks. Before I knew it though, I was fixing hardware and making a living building computer networks. But, aside from my wife, teaching was my first love, so I retired at 55 and went back to college to become a high school computer science teacher. Although born on the other side of the world from Plymouth, I have 4 Mayflower Ancestors and belong to the Society of Mayflower Descendants, Sons of the American Revolution and the Order of Founders and Patriots of America. Retired from teaching now, my wife and I live in Florida with our 3 rat terriers.
